HIST 644 - Teaching History Practicum

Regular discussions of problems and trends in the teaching of history. Completion of project related to methods and theories of the teaching of history. May count as elective or substitute (with approval) for HIST 404.

Prerequisites: HIST 404.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Develop understanding of major debates, problems, and trends in the scholarship of the teaching of history.
Work collaboratively with instructor and other students to develop specific skills and tools in the teaching of history.
Present or demonstrate a project that concerns the teaching of history.
