MGMT 368 - Quality and Process Improvement


Units: 3
Elements of quality management methods of and techniques in quality assurance, statistical process control, and acceptance sampling. Emphasis on decision-making and applications in quality improvement. Also, development of variable and attribute quality control charts, and reliability measurement and analysis.

Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground or Online-Asynchronous.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Apply concepts and applications of quality management to manage and improve quality, productivity, and reliability in organizations.
  2. Demonstrate essential skills of modeling, managing and optimizing quality related decisions.
  3. Develop and utilize a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods and tools in managing and improving quality and reliability based decisions.
