COMM 428 - Multimedia Reporting and Writing II Units: 4 Advanced multimedia reporting and writing techniques, feature writing styles, producing journalism for multiple genres such as sports, arts and culture, and politics. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Demonstrate ability with advanced journalism research techniques, including policy research, advanced interviewing and basic data research;
- Apply advanced knowledge and practice of journalism relating to diverse and underserved publics;
- Write feature-length news and opinion with emphasis on journalism for social change;
- Report, write and publish journalism, including multimedia elements, in The Pioneer;
- Demonstrate diverse communication perspectives toward communities and peoples.
