THEA 112 - Makeup Techniques

Essential makeup skills. Processes for stage makeup to design a character or enhance features for stage lighting. Skills and knowledge apply to everyday situations.

Credit Restrictions: Only one unit may be applied to the B.A. Theatre Arts major.

Repeatability: May be repeated for a maximum of 4 units.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
Course Typically Offered: Spring ONLY

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

interpret a character and their development from a script.
apply makeup to create character or enhance features for the stage
draw and paint makeup design concepts.
