Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Gain a basic understanding of different theoretical approaches in political science
- Demonstrate through oral and written competency an understanding of the theories, concepts, empirical content and research agendas in political science
- Gain a basic understanding of political processes in the US and in the world
- Identify different careers that are available to political science students
- Interact and discuss readings collaboratively
