Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Apply the Six Dimensions of Health and their relation to disease prevalence and prevention.
- Integrate the concept of mind, body, and spirit into their own lifestyles to create a positive behavioral growth change.
- Integrate the concept of mind, body, and spirit into helping others create a positive behavioral growth change.
- Discuss how social, psychological, physical, environmental, mental, and spiritual factors influence an individual’s health.
- Discuss non-conventional therapies used to treat disease and illness.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between lifestyle choices and health
