PSYC 441 - Advanced Developmental Psychology Units: 4 Advanced topic course in human development, with a focus on developmental psychology research and applications. Topics will be explored using actual data and may include research on the development of language, memory, theory of mind, identity and personality.
Prerequisites: PSYC 340. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Contrast divergent empirical findings within topical areas of developmental psychology.
- Understand the scientific methods employed by, and the challenges presented to, developmental psychologists
- Explore and appreciate real-world developmental data.
- Readily apply the principles of developmental psychology to real world settings.
