CRJ 330 - Crime Prevention and Control Units: 3 Examines the concepts of planning and implementation of crime prevention and control systems. The role of security in urban society and civilian involvement in crime prevention.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Identify and evaluate crime prevention techniques;
- Compare crime prevention methods focused on family, schools, community, and policing;
- Describe crime prevention policies and their effects on recidivism;
- Apply basic crime prevention techniques to a crime problem;
- Identify and evaluate different crime-problem interventions.
