Cross-cultural and socio-historical perspectives on children, childhood, and child development.

Prerequisites: Junior, senior or post-baccalaureate standing.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
 

1. Define culture and identify the importance of culture for understanding child development.

2. Utilize cross-cultural methods to understand and analyze child development.

3. Apply cross-cultural methods to identify global problems and solutions involving children.
