NURS 450 - Community Health Nursing Units: 2 ; G.E./G.R. Area: Social Justice This course explores population-focused approaches to community health promotion, disease prevention and integration of complex concepts in community health systems and policies. Note: The Social Justice Overlay requirement is satisfied upon completion of the two-course sequence, NURS 450 and NURS 451.
Prerequisites: B.S. Nursing major and all of: NURS 420, NURS 421, NURS 422, NURS 423, NURS 427. Co-requisites: NURS 451. Credit Restrictions: Repeated course may not count toward Major requirements. Equivalent Quarter Course: NURS 4207. Repeatability: May be repeated once for credit for a maximum of 4 units. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, Entirely On-line, Hybrid (every section of this course may be taught both online and on-ground). Grading: A-F grading only.
