NURS 317 - Community Engagement I

This seminar course is focused on the delivery of culturally inclusive community-based healthcare, selected issues in primary care and health promotion. The course includes both in-class sessions and field experience in a community health facility or elder health site. Note: The Diversity Overlay requirement is satisfied upon completion of the four-course series, NURS 317, NURS 327, NURS 417 and NURS 427.

Prerequisites: B.S. Nursing major.
Co-requisites: All of: NURS 310, NURS 311, NURS 314, NURS 315.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: CR/NC grading only.
