CRJ 310 - Corrections and Criminal Justice Units: 3 Introduction to the evolution of the correctional system, theories of punishment, and treatment. Emphasis placed on policies, practices, legal issues, and controversies within the correctional system. Incarceration in jails and prisons, capital punishment, and probation and parole are discussed.
Equivalent Quarter Course: CRJA 3100. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-line, Hybrid (every section of this course may be taught both online and on-ground). Grading: A-F grading only.
