Application and practice of adult health assessment and introductory nursing interventions foundational to nursing practice. 

Prerequisites: Open to nursing majors only
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground.
Grading: CR/NC grading only.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
 

  1. Demonstrate the components and process of a comprehensive assessment of an adult
  2.  Differentiate between expected and unexpected physical examination findings 
  3. Develop an individualized plan of care based on assessment history and physical examination
  4. Demonstrate clinical reasoning to perform basic nursing skills 
  5. Implement standardized, evidence-based nursing care
