MUS 676 - Introduction to Orff Schulwerk Units: 1 Exploration of the Orff Schulwerk approach to music education. Focus on elementary music, improvisation, movement, and instruments. Includes curriculum development, lesson design, teaching methods, and supportive song, speech, and dance literature.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Baccalaureate degree in music; 1+ years of K-12 music teaching experience Repeatability: Repeatable for credit up to 4 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice) Course Typically Offered: Summer ONLY
