SLHS 309 - Foundations of Success in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology I

Students will learn a variety of skills to support them through the completion of the B.S. degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Prerequisites: Open to Majors only
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground.
Grading: CR/NC grading only.
Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY


Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Create a semester-by-semester plan for graduation that includes both major and university graduate requirements.
  2. Create a weekly and a semester study plan.
  3. Develop effective study strategies for different types of courses.
  4. Develop effective skills for completing group assignments, presentations, and writing assignments.
  5. List sources of support, including campus resources and student organizations.
