ES 121 - The People’s History II

Topical and comparative approach to the contributions of diverse peoples and cultures to the development of the United States from 1877 to the present.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Apply an Ethnic Studies disciplinary lens to the study of US history.
  2. Explain the development of the California State Constitution concerning issues of race, class, and gender.
  3. Identify key moments in the struggle for social justice for people of color, women, GLBTQ, and working-class people in US history.
