PSYC 200 - Methods of Investigation in Psychology

Experimental, correlational, and observational methods in the study of psychology with selected examples.

Prerequisites: PSYC 100.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).

  1. Understand and apply the basic methods of psychological research.
  2. Critically evaluate journal articles and related reports in the popular media.
  3. Identify the fundamental elements of APA style
  4. Identify the principles of research ethics.
