In-depth coverage of topics related to financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, revenue recognition, cash, receivables, inventories, long-lived tangible and intangible assets, and current liabilities. Emphasize GAAP and the interpretation of financial statement data.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Prepare an income statement and describe issues dealing with its content, presentation, and disclosure.
- Prepare a classified balance sheet and describe issues dealing with its content, presentation, and disclosure.
- Apply the five-step model for revenue recognition from contracts with customers.
- Illustrate the accounting for transactions related to cash, receivables, inventories, operating tangible and intangible assets, and current liabilities, including their presentation on financial statements.
