PSYC 320 - Physiological Psychology Units: 4 The biological foundations of human and animal behavior, including physiological processes related to sensory and motor activity, perception, learning, thinking, motivation, and emotion.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of the biological factors that underlie psychological processes.
- Explain the use of scientific methods as applied to physiological psychology.
- Describe and explain the various systems/main concepts of the nervous system (including parts of the brain, neuronal communication, drugs, hormones, sexual differentiation, hearing, vision, learning, and memory, language, and psychological disorders).
- Relate concepts covered in class to real-life conditions, such as neurological diseases or disorders and basic behaviors and physiological processes.
