MUS 366 - Electronic Music Ensemble Units: 1 ; Breadth Area: GE-E The Electronic Music Ensemble (EME) is comprised of diverse undergraduate and graduate students who expand the boundaries of traditional composition and performance through explorations with analog and digital technologies, including everyday objects, music instruments, live electronics, fixed media, and performance-installation.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Breadth Area(s) Satisfied: GE-E -Lifelong Learning and Self-Development Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Show basic understanding of audio software
- Produce original music for a computer music ensemble
- Develop expressive computer music performance in an ensemble setting
- Synthesize all objectives into concert performances
