Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  1. Design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data.
  2. Design FIR and IIR filters by hand to meet specific magnitude and phase requirements.
  3. Interpret magnitude and phase of LTI system frequency response.
  4. Demonstrate Z and inverse Z using tables, Partial Fraction Expansion, and power series expansion.
  5. Use computers and MATLAB to create, analyze and process signals, and to simulate and analyze systems sound and image synthesis and analysis.
