Prerequisites: B.S. Nursing major and all of: NURS 410, NURS 411, NURS 412, NURS 413, NURS 414, NURS 415.

Understand principles of healthcare financing and budgeting.
Apply principles of negotiation and conflict management to healthcare team situations.
Describe union and professional organization influences on nursing practice.
Describe the impact of organizational structure, technology, economic incentives, legislation, hierarchy, and culture on healthcare systems.
