ACCT 440 - Advanced Accounting Information Systems Units: 3 Select advanced techniques to analyze internal accounting data for data-driven business decision-making. Learn how accounting subsystems operate and are integrated into a business information system using various up-to-date software and database software systems.
Prerequisites: ACCT 341 with grade C or better Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid, or Online Asynchronous or Online Synchronous Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate how to use database management systems to query and analyze internal accounting records.
- Demonstrate how to integrate Access and Excel to prepare financial budgets.
