ITM 336 - Information Systems Development and Management

Developing information systems including systems planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Primary emphasis on learning and practicing techniques and processes used by system analysts at each phase within a system development lifecycle.

Prerequisites: ITM 300.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground or Online-Asynchronous.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Describe software development tasks and different approaches to software development;
Utilize design methodologies and modeling techniques to develop an information system;
Develop project plans, and understand how to organize, direct, and control a project for software development or implementation.
