OTL 672 - Content Development for Online Learning Units: 3 Create course materials specific to various learning environments: corporate, academic, military, industrial, enrichment, online and on-ground. Relevant teaching and learning strategies for each modality. Online teaching components suitable to at least two different environments.
Prerequisites: All of: OTL 601, OTL 602, OTL 603, OTL 604. Co-requisites: OTL 606. Possible Instructional Methods: Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Analyze and evaluate constraints that impact design decisions in multiple environments.
- Analyze and evaluate learner characteristics that impact design decisions in multiple environments.
- Analyze the different pedagogical approaches required in different learning environments.
- Develop learning objectives and design interactions to address them.
- Analyze online curriculum and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Explore your own learning and teaching styles and preferences, and understand how they correlate with your preferences for online course design.
