An interdisciplinary exploration of theories, methods, and research findings on children in families and communities.

 

Prerequisites: Junior, senior or post-baccalaureate standing.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid or Online-Asynchronous.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring


Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate core knowledge in biological, psychological, and social aspects of human development for children in families and communities.

2. Demonstrate critical thinking ability in similarities, differences, and connections among human development perspectives on children in families and communities.

3. Access information, design, and carry out an individual research project inspired by course content.
