ART 493E - Transdisciplinary Senior Project Units: 3 Students produce an art/design project reflecting mastery of conceptual and cultural theories and practices of transdisciplinary and creative, design, and development skills and processes that meet professional standards. Students transition to postgraduate life, developing a portfolio and career documents.
Prerequisites: ART 448. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Produce a transdisciplinary art/design project at a professional level;
- Demonstrate mastery of the key concepts and techniques of transdisciplinary;
- Envision a sophisticated piece or body of work, write and present a proposal, plan and execute a steady practice to realize the work and present it to an audience;
- Develop materials (cover letter, CV, portfolio, et) necessary for successful advancement in the field;
- Anticipate and plan a course of professional development, including interviews, grant applications, competition entries, and graduate school applications.
