TED 642 - Developing and Evaluating Curriculum & Instruction


Units: 4
Reflect and apply theories relevant to curriculum and instructional design, development and evaluation in professional contexts. Identify and recommend solutions to improve curriculum and instruction.

Prerequisites: Department consent.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Use knowledge, skills, and professional dispositions to develop and adapt curriculum and instructions for all learners.
  2. Utilize research and data to recommend best practices in curriculum and instruction for all learners.
  3. Evaluate curriculum and instruction using research and context considerations.
  4. Communicate with school community on curriculum and instructional design, development, and evaluation.
