COMM 316 - Media and Government Units: 4 Critical relationships between the news media and government. Attention will be devoted to how the news media influence the nation’s social, cultural, economic and political development and how a lack of trust diminishes both critical entities.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Understand and discuss how the media and government each work independently of one another and together how they are adversaries of one another;
- Understand and discuss how the media drive the nation’s social, cultural, economic and political development;
- Students will be able to explain the diminishing lack of trust in both the media and government.
