KIN 310 - Bone Health and Exercise Units: 3 The relationship between bone health and exercise from adolescence to aging. Review current guidelines and literature and apply the guidelines to communities.
Prerequisites: BIOL 270 and BIOL 271. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Discuss foundational topics in skeletal health and exercise.
- Discuss experimental approaches used to assess bone health.
- Understand the current guidelines for bone health during adolescence and aging.
- Critically analyze current literature and utilize this literature to address common questions.
- Assess current bone health and exercise interventions in the community.
