MATH 671 - Topics in Numerical Analysis Units: 4 Topics in numerical analysis such as approximation theory, numerical linear algebra, eigenvalue algorithms, numerical solutions to nonlinear systems, numerical methods for differential equations.
Prerequisites: MATH 670. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 12 units. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Apply definitions and theorems of numerical analysis.
- Apply the techniques of numerical analysis to solve problems.
