Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Learn the basic skills and mechanics involved with playing the violin, viola, cello, and double bass.
Perform scales, studies, and solo material appropriate to elementary-level students.
Implement pedagogical techniques and examine common issues/difficulties appropriate to beginning string students.
Survey and analyze pedagogical materials, e.g. methods and solo literature, for elementary string students.
