Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
 

  1. summarize competing theories related to learning and literacy development
  2. analyze and evaluate pedagogical approaches to English language arts instruction for secondary school students
  3. critically observe and document classroom practices
  4. identify factors that contribute to effective, inclusive instruction in English language, literature, and composition
