Employee-management relations. Topics include: defining the employment relationship; employment law; regulation and compliance; employee rights; alternative dispute resolution and grievance procedures; collective bargaining and preventative employee relations; and emerging issues in employee relations.

Define various types of employment relationships.
Analyze components of employment and labor law, including employee rights and employer responsibilities.
Explain methods of alternative dispute resolution and grievance procedures.

Develop and communicate informed opinions on complex issues in employment law and employee relations.
