Theories of learning and motivations to learn. Development of strategies to communicate course content and to encourage learning for the diversity of students in the communication classroom.

Grading: A-F grading only.

Analyze various issues of classroom diversity within undergraduate courses.
Articulate learning outcomes and design corresponding indicators that are observable and achievable within the course.
Complete a course curriculum: a syllabus with course outline organized into content units; entire set of lesson plans; and detailed assessment methods.
Create meaningful and developmental lectures, dialogues, assignments, rubrics, and activities that will facilitate your students learning of the outcomes.
