HOS 315 - Wedding Planning

Units: 3
All aspects of planning a wedding, including budgets, timelines, food and beverage, attire, ceremony, floral decor, stationery, photography, entertainment, rentals, layouts, transportation, and favors. Development of a detailed wedding plan.

Prerequisites: HOS 100, HOS 210, HOS 310, REC 100.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY

Describe the evolution of wedding industry.
Develop a wedding plan.
Apply skills for wedding design, planning, and implementation.
Recommend solutions to probable issues that arise before, during and after a wedding.
