MATH 305 - Mathematical Software Units: 3 The use of mathematical software to explore and visualize advanced concepts in mathematics. This course, along with Introduction to Mathematical Proof, serves as a transition to upper division mathematics.
Prerequisites: MATH 131 with grade C- or better. Co-requisites: MATH 230. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Use mathematical software to perform calculations.
- Use mathematical software to understand, explain and/or solve problems beyond a particular course.
- Construct graphical output using mathematical software.
