Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Describe the scientific process in general and experimental research in particular.
- Identify the characteristics of a research hypothesis.
- Use scholarly resources to locate relevant scientific literature.
- Evaluate journal articles.
- Identify the principles of research ethics.
- Collect and manage data.
- Analyze data using appropriate statistical techniques and interpret the results.
- Present research findings in American Psychological Association format.
