TED 539 - Mathematics I: Instructional Methods in a Single Subject Classroom Units: 3 Introductory course in the practice of instructional methodology in a single subject classroom with a focus on the theory and practice of mathematical methods instruction to diverse learners.
Prerequisites: Admission to Single Subject Credential Program. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Develop varied lessons and units in the content area appropriate to the developmental level of students in their classrooms.
- Develop lessons and units aligned with state standards and frameworks.
- Develop classroom management techniques appropriate to their content area and grade of their students.
- Identify, assess, and use different pedagogical techniques.
