KIN 607 - Assessment of Human Performance Units: 4 Assessing human performance using a range of tools and methodologies. Evaluating limitations within testing environments and protocols available in a range of settings. Communicating and interpreting outcomes to the learner/performer.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Apply testing methods and equipment used in laboratory and/or field settings in order to assess human performance/behavior/skill.
- Analyze data, interpret and provide feedback for relevant testing methods in the fields of exercise and physical activity.
- Apply methods to analyze research questions.
- Evaluate the specificity and reliability of measurement and evaluation methods.
- Compare measurements obtained from different testing methods.
- Evaluate original and review articles and apply information in a relevant sport setting.
