Provides students with analytic and research tools to increase their capacity to pose, answer, and critically evaluate questions in economic research.

Prerequisites: Post-baccalaureate standing.

Formulate well-defined research questions.
Identify and evaluate the relevant primary economic literature on a research topic.
Analyze the structure of arguments in primary economic literature.
Discuss the validity and limitations of research findings.
