CHEM 691 - University Thesis

Units: 2
Development and writing of a formal research paper for submission to the university in the specified format. Supervision by a departmental committee, at least one of whom must be a California State East Bay faculty member.

Prerequisites: Department consent.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Organize and critically assess results from independently conducted research.
Organize and critically assess related information from the chemical literature.
Present research results via a formal written thesis following the University specified format.
