Development and writing of a formal research paper on original research under the supervision of a member of the department faculty.

Prerequisites: Department consent.
Repeatability: Repeatable for a maximum of 2 units.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

organize and critically assess results from independently conducted research;
present research results via a formal written paper.
