Examination of contemporary theories, research, issues and trends in adulthood and aging.

Prerequisites: Junior, senior or post-baccalaureate standing.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
 

  1. Identify and explain the emotional, social, and identity development involved in adulthood and aging (SLO 1).
  2. Understand the intergroup and intragroup similarities and differences in adulthood and aging (SLO 1,2).
  3. Identify and explain the multiple levels of development that impact adulthood and aging (SLO1,2,3).
  4. Identify and explain the diversity within adulthood and aging (SLO1,2,3,4).
  5. Understand the importance of context as it relates to adulthood and aging (SLO1,2,3,4).
