HDEV 449 - Contemporary Research Topics in Adulthood and Aging Units: 4 Examination of contemporary theories, research, issues and trends in adulthood and aging.
Prerequisites: Junior, senior or post-baccalaureate standing. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Identify and explain the emotional, social, and identity development involved in adulthood and aging (SLO 1).
- Understand the intergroup and intragroup similarities and differences in adulthood and aging (SLO 1,2).
- Identify and explain the multiple levels of development that impact adulthood and aging (SLO1,2,3).
- Identify and explain the diversity within adulthood and aging (SLO1,2,3,4).
- Understand the importance of context as it relates to adulthood and aging (SLO1,2,3,4).
