CRJ 330 - Crime Prevention and Control

Examines the concepts of planning and implementation of crime prevention and control systems. The role of security in urban society and civilian involvement in crime prevention.

Identify and evaluate crime prevention techniques;
Compare crime prevention methods focused on family, schools, community, and policing;
Describe crime prevention policies and their effects on recidivism;
Apply basic crime prevention techniques to a crime problem;
Identify and evaluate different crime-problem interventions.
