DANC 293 - Dance Projects Units: 1 Practical experiences in performing, directing, teaching, promoting and managing dance projects. May include rehearsing and performing in dance productions; assisting dance instructors and choreographers; observing a dance company, studio or other professional organization; other opportunities with instructor approval.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Two shows for credit with a “C” or better. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 4 units. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Perform, create and/or observe the process of original dance works being made for the stage and screen using innovative and contemporary methods;
- Engage individuals and build community through meaningful dance experiences.
