Focus on mechanisms of disease, pathophysiological concepts and processes with emphasis on commonly occurring acute and chronic conditions and their clinical management and nursing implications.

Prerequisites: Concurrent enrollment in ADN program or completion of ADN degree.

Explain the pathogenesis of selected diseases and conditions.
Correlate clinical manifestations and diagnostic findings with acute and chronic physiological alterations.
