MGMT 678 - Design Thinking for Leaders


Units: 3
In this course, students will creatively and analytically use design and system thinking to more effectively solve problems in any domain. This course develops students’ skills to conceive, organize, lead, implement, and evaluate successful design projects.

Strongly Recommended Preparation: All CBE and University proficiencies.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Discuss and debate creative business model ideas.
  2. Apply design thinking to come up with creative approaches to complex issues using innovative strategic business concepts and models.
  3. Analyze business model design alternatives.
  4. Demonstrate capability to succinctly present design ideas and solutions.
