THEA 241 - America on Stage Units: 3 American Theatre from its beginning to the present, including reflection on the values and culture of a changing America portrayed on the stage.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - use portrayal of sociocultural and political issues in American plays as examples when in discussing contemporary questions
- speak and write critically about the portrayal of cultural issues and diversity in American drama
- collaborate with a team to gather background about a play, synthesize the gathered information, and report in a way that is useful to the greater community.
