use portrayal of sociocultural and political issues in American plays as examples when in discussing contemporary questions
speak and write critically about the portrayal of cultural issues and diversity in American drama
collaborate with a team to gather background about a play, synthesize the gathered information, and report in a way that is useful to the greater community.
