Practicum experience in K-12 public school class and rehearsal settings, involving observation and teaching under the supervision of music faculty. Focus on practical skills. Regularly scheduled seminars. Field trips required.

Prerequisites: Department consent.
Credit Restrictions: Only open for credit to music education majors participating in the music single subject matter preparation program.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Observe outstanding music teachers in authentic K-12 school based classroom and rehearsal settings.
Observe a variety of age levels and disciplines.
